The module ALARM EXTENDER is used for optical and acoustical monitoring of alarm and alarm groups of devices, which have a relay alarm output, e.g. ECDIS, VDR or Anchor Watch.

Over the alarm input, a contact or contact line will be checked. If the contact will be opened an acoustical and an optical signal will released.
